This is a great opportunity for you, and you'll need to strategise to crack the exam by 2025: the selection process, the eligibility criteria for the exam, the highest-weighted topics, and the syllabus. Where can you find all this information? We'll discuss all these points. Be sure to watch this session until the end for complete information. So, first, let's talk about vacancies.

DDA has announced over 1,300 vacancies. Of these, if I talk about civil services, there are approximately 104 vacancies. There are 67 vacancies in Electrical and Mechanical. These vacancies are listed here, categorised. You can take a screenshot if you'd like. Now, let's get straight to the point: what are the eligibility criteria? We'll get straight to the point and keep this session short so you can cover all the points quickly.

DDA JE  Exam Pattern :

Educational Qualifications. So, all students who are diploma holders or degree holders are eligible for this exam. The age criteria are that the minimum age should be 18 and the maximum age should be 27. After this, we will discuss the syllabus, that is, which subjects will be included. So, look at the topics here; it will be non-tech. The non-tech section will be worth 40 marks, which includes general awareness, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and English language. You can say that each one is worth 10 marks. Okay? In this way, the questions you will face, i.e., these subjects, are divided into 10 marks each. General awareness will also include reasoning, math, and English. The total number of questions is 40, and the total marks will also be 40. This means that each question will be worth one mark. And speaking of negative marking, there is a negative marking of 0.33% here. The technical part, whether from civil, electrical , or mechanical, carries a weightage of 80 marks, meaning there will be 80 questions, each carrying 80 marks. So, you will see a total of 120 questions, each carrying 120 marks, and there will be a negative marking of 0.33% here. There will be negative marking. Now, the DDA JE exam pattern states that each question will carry one mark. If we look at it based on your 2023 exam, there are 120 questions in total. Look , there won't be any significant changes in your 2025 exam . When the notification comes, you'll see that the changes aren't that significant. 99% of your things will remain the same. Whether it's the exam pattern, syllabus , or anything else, you 'll see changes of 1% or less. So, we 'll start 99% of our preparation right now . Because after the notification comes, there won't be much time left to clear the exam. So, there will be negative marking here. So, now let's see the selection process. You have to follow the process. It will be a computer-based test. Your exam will be computer-based. Stage One and Stage Two. After the computer-based exam, there will be direct document verification and a medical examination, and then your posting. When you get the job, it's obvious that since it's DDA, you'll be employed within Delhi.

DDA JE  Exam Preparation Book :

If I compare it to 2023, because we don't know right now, I can't say what the cut-off will be. But if we compare it to previous years, the last cut-off for your 2023 exam was 91.612 for Civil, and the cut-off for Electrical and Mechanical was 79.037. Similarly, you can see the cut-offs for SC, ST, and OBC here. Last year, the cut-off was this much. Okay? So, the cut-offs only give an idea. However, every year, the cut-offs increase slightly . Right? So now let's talk about the average number of questions in Civil, meaning the approximate number of questions from each subject. So, BAMC CTC has 16 questions, the Survey has nine, and the Highway has two. There are also eight questions from the Environment. So, this is how you'll see the weightage here. Now, let's talk about non-tech. Now, what is non-tech? Non-tech is yours for 40 marks. We have a weightage of 40 marks, which will include four of your subjects. If we talk about General Intelligence and Reasoning, there will be Analogy. There will also be questions on Blood Relations. There will also be Sologism questions. And there will also be non-verbal reasoning. For example, there are puzzles and visual patterns. In this way, you can practice logical reasoning, coding , decoding, and input-output series . If we talk about General Awareness, this is the most difficult topic for children. But first, understand the General Awareness syllabus. Then, take classes daily. You won't find it too difficult. See how you'll learn current affairs. For one thing, you can't decide on any particular topic, saying, "I 'll cover it all in one month or two ." You have to stay updated on current affairs daily. This means that any one topic will be covered. My class is at 8:00 AM. You can attend my class. Every day at 8:00 AM, we analyse all current affairs in 40 to 45 minutes, especially those related to Delhi's development. You'll need to study current affairs related to Delhi's development separately. You can use any magazine for this. Study general knowledge about history. You'll cover history. You'll also cover geography, politics, and questions on economics and the environment. However, I'll cover all the current affairs related to Delhi's development here.
