Competition Exams
08 Oct, 2025
A warm welcome to all my fellow NDA aspirants, who are eagerly awaiting their results. But preparation shouldn't stop amidst all this, as Mission NDA First 2026 has already begun. What is the seven-month NDA First 2026 strategy to score 500+ marks? Can you really crack the NDA?
Can you really achieve the score that leads to a sure-shot selection? Why are we so eagerly awaiting the results today? Because deep down, we doubt that we didn't score well enough, and this doubt won't end here. Then, there's the concern about whether our name will appear on the final merit list, as the written score is a plus factor. Then, it's the SSB score that finally secures your name on the merit list. Therefore, it's crucial to work with a proper strategy during these seven months. We shouldn't repeat the mistakes we made this time. This time, you need to adopt a better strategy. In these seven months, you'll have two goals: to appear for the NDA exam in April, and to appear for the JEE exam in April.
Can I crack nda in 6 months? :
It's time to get up and prepare better to secure my destiny in 2026. So, what will be the strategy for these seven months to reach a 500-plus score? To achieve a top-notch score, and that's possible with MKC? To understand the monthly study plan from October to April. You already know that the NDA First 2026 notification will be released on December 10th. The exam will be held in April. The date of April 12th is also fixed. And when it comes to preparation, you have a full seven months from October to April. This means enough time to prepare, primarily focusing on the NCERT. Kids, you can't pass the exam by memorising. If it's UPSC, you have to study. NCERT always plays a better role in that. And no matter which exam you're taking, whether you 're taking the NDA or the JEE.
How to pass nda exam on the first attempt?
As of today, if you don't have a strong command of NCERT, you won't be able to do it. Revise and practice PYQs, because we often study endlessly, but never take serious notes and do PYQs. Now, every topic you study must be based on NCERT concepts at an advanced level. It's crucial that you also take PYQs for the NDA and JEE exams based on those topics. This will improve your confidence and prevent any shortcomings you may have in the future. Build your written and SSB skills. Since you know you've got a 900 written score, and your SSB score is 900, it's crucial to start working on both possibilities now so that your score reaches the best 1800, ultimately leading you to the merit list.
Let's learn more about these strategies. For NDFS 2026, two papers will be held on the same day. The first, Mathematics, will consist of 1120 questions, 2½ hours, and 300 marks, with negative marking of 1/3. For the GAT, the General Ability Test consists of 110 questions, 600 marks, and 1150 minutes. A total of 900 questions are available. If you're considering the written exam, you'll also receive 900 marks for your SSB exam. Negative marking is obviously 1/3 for math, so it's 0.83.
Since each question carries four marks for the GATE, it's 1.33. So, we must understand one thing for this exam: do what you do correctly, or else you'll lose marks even on the correct questions. If we look at the month-wise roadmap, October to December will be the time to build a strong foundation by studying the NCERT. January to February will be your intensive practice phase. In Phase Three, from March to April, we'll work continuously on mock tests, PYQs, and revisions.
This will create a perfect strategy and ensure 100% success. Focus on NCERT plus basics, as I said, this should be there in your daily routine, you should have at least two chapters of Mathematics every week, English Grammar plus Vocab, you will keep a target of 30 words daily, if we talk about Science and GS part, then at least Physics, History, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, We will work on all these things in October and December to give you better confidence. Solving the last five years' PYQs will be our main agenda. Mock tests will be our main target. We have divided Math, GATE, and English into time slots in our daily routine. This will involve at least six hours of daily study. Regular study will be required. Only then will you be able to do well. In the final phase, from March to April, we will obviously focus on full-length mock tests. We will focus on PYQs. We will revise formulas. We will revise grammar rules. We will work on PT articles and geography maps. We will discuss science, law, chemistry, and reactions. We will work on the current affairs section of the defence. In a way, we will work on concise, revised, and focused material that will help you improve during this time. And in parallel with the SSB, we 'll engage you in communication classes, as spoken language is equally important for the SSB. We'll focus primarily on psychological practice and writing skills, and we'll also involve you in activities like current affairs, GDs, and lectures, to help you improve from an SSB perspective and prepare you for mock exams. We will also give you a chance for interviews. Exactly.
